Industry members from the home furnishing, gift, and design trades descended on Las Vegas in last month for the Las Vegas Market (LVMkt) Summer 2022 event, where they were treated to the latest in furniture, bedding, casual/outdoor, home décor, and gift products from more than 4000 brands and exhibitors.
From showrooms to programming, the LVMKT had plenty for members to experience and so many trends to introduce.

BET ON BRASS While other finishes are still going strong, brass is continuing to be the head of the class. AHEAD OF THE CURVE The demand for organic curves in furnishings is still on the rise. And the manufacturers featured several new collections with plush, comfy and inviting seating options.

BLEACHED IS AT A PEAK Whether used alongside metal accents or pre-weathered for the aged, gray look without the passage of time, bleached furniture is having a moment and stealing the limelight.

These trends are on the way out
COMPLEX DESIGNS While the pendulum hasn’t swung fully to minimalism, the excess and saturation of maximalism have eased into a balanced, refined look. BOLD COLOR PALETTES While we enjoy adding an unexpected splash of color, the ultra-glossy and harsh color schemes are replaced with soft, hush tones.
